- Growth of productivity: usually, it is necessary to count 1d/man for the coding of a single form, there where the first modellng sets approximately 3 hours (for the aggregate of the form); generally a company uses several forms mobilizing identical classes; by repercussion the duration necessary for the realization of the following forms is even more reduced; for example, modeling the 2nd diagram took half the time, ie approximately 30 minutes. Productivity growth will also be the amount of "content" produced, in this case, the design of the prototype has helped generate 73 folders, containing 160 files, comprising 6961 lines of code.
- Agility: at first, by the graphic aspect of its interface which allows a relatively well-to-do handling, because more intuitive than files of code, so facilitating the communication between customers, functional people and technicians; then, by the moldable aspect of the model created who allows a modification of the plan (generally consecutive to the evolution of the project) - mostly relative to the creation of a new class or to the revision of an association - being technically translated by few mouse clicks !
- Quality: first our tool can generate a code more robust in the sense that any change in the modeling of a diagram requires a new generation, but does not hinder the performance of the modeler, then SIDE offers the automatic generation of the technical documentation, thereby producing a comprehensive support for objects and concepts used in the model.
- Relevance: indeed, the essential stage of the application living in the modeling of the business domain of our customers, a part of time gained by the absence of coding, is dedicated to the understanding and to the collection of this information also bound to the expression of the need; besides, the earnings in professional relevance is also beneficial on the long term, because the experiment shows that the professional knowledge of our customers is very stable in the time; it is techniques, even technologies which evolve; this way, the approach by model supports well the migrations towards other platforms (cf. Alfresco 2.9, Alfresco 3.0, Alfresco 3.1).
