Methodology

The methodology of modeling / generating used for the realization of this case study is to:

  • model objects and data under the shape of a class diagram
  • model objects and data for reporting

Data modeling with a class diagram made from the paper form entitled "Summary project" lasted 4h. The progression of the modeling data was the least ambiguous and most frequently appears at the top of the form, to the most vague, the uniqueness located at the end of the form. The presentation of the modeling process reflects this progression, dividing the work into two major phases, one consisting of the header of the form (the first 8 lines), the other comprising the body (the last 2 columns).
